Meet Lisa Field, Coordinator of Love Our Street 3030 Werribee and since May 2018, has been organising monthly clean-ups, approx. 10 times a year. During the pandemic, she had to get creative and asked people to do their clean-ups independently or whilst exercising with a friend - which gained some momentum. 

"I hate litter, and love nature, so doing clean-ups is a good fit. I also like being with people, so organising a community activity is something I enjoy".

"I’ve also been involved in some larger clean-ups, like Clean-up Australia Day and Spring Clean the City etc. Here’s a picture from a 2019 event that I helped organise - I’m on the far left, bottom row in the green Love Our Street 3030 shirt.

Even though I started as a volunteer, I have managed to obtain paid work in the environment sector. I now organise business clean-ups, spot cleans, and continue to use the data and evidence to lobby to authorities to stop the litter at the source and/or support with a clean."
