BeachPatrol Australia has made it to be a Finalist in the prestegious Premier's Sustainability awards for 2022. Nominated in the Waste and Litter Reduction category as a Community Champion Finalist.

Recognised for the development of the #litterstopper app to record plastic waste picked up. The data collected in the app is stored and displayed on the BeachPatrol website and a copy is also sent to the State's DELWP Litterwatch database for state government policy assistance on managing plastic waste.
