It was time to celebrate in Sandringham in March, as 3191 BeachPatrol and Love our Street were announced as winners of the 2025 Bayside Community award for Environmental Achievement.

Co-leader Simon said "this award belongs to all of the many hundreds of community volunteers who turn out each month to help keep our beautiful village and beaches clean." In 2024, the combined BP and LOS groups collected more than 680kg of waste from Sandringham beach, village and surounds. Over 400 volunteers gave their time, and continue to turn out every month at the community clean up events.
