Partial Audit 663 Elwood Junction and surrounds, JGS🐧 Though still holiday season, nine dedicated volunteers turned out to remove litter from Elwood streets. Overall, we collected 12kg of rubbish: mostly light weight plastic items and fragments. Thank you all for preventing pollution entering our Bay, from polluting our beach and harming wildlife. 🙏💙🐬🦆🐧💚🙏 We were rewarded with a beautiful morning and enjoyed catching up over coffee. Thank you everyone. Key items: 33 drink bottles and cans, 29 plastic bottle tops, 33 coffee cups and lids, 25 sauce sachets and fish, 515 cigarette butts. Also, loose wipes and a packet of wipes (contain synthetic fibres), a vape, batteries and a large metal pole that will be re-purposed as a rain gauge mount.
