3207 Beach Patrol

Helping to look after the Precious inner-city Port Melbourne beaches, 3207BeachPatrol conducts a clean along one of its 5 stretches of beach every month.

The bright blue tee shirts of the volunteers make for a colourful addition to the beaches once a month on Saturday mornings.   See BeachPatrol 3207 in action to save the local community here!

We are still waiting for Spring to arrive and stay.   A rather chilly and windy day greeted us.   Still 28 volunteers came out to make a difference.   We cleaned Sandridge beach and along the new walking path by the Port.  Lots of fishermen litter.   Line, food and containers left lying around.

151 bottles and cans.

3207 BeachPatrol for September by information@beachpatrol.com.au
We smashed it.  Our biggest turnout ever.  Over 70 people.  Not much plastic rubbish was obvious on the beach but after 1 hour 30 bags of rubbish were collected.  So much we had to take it to take in to the local refuse center to dispose of.
