Werribee 3030 Feb 12 Clean @ Campbells Cove
41 volunteers  clean Campbell's Cove beach 

Our 41 volunteers collected in excess of 300kg of rubbish including a massive 439 bottles & cans (just some of which are pictured below), 500+ cigarette butts, 6 car tyres & other general rubbish.  After the clean many of us went to Joe's Corner Cafe @ Wyndham Harbour for coffee & a chat. It is great to see our group continue to grow & friendships develop.

3030 Beach Patrol/Holcim Corporate Clean Up Day
3030 Beach Patrol/Werribee River Association joined forces with the staff of Holcim Werribee for a Corporate Clean Up Day on Fri December 9th.  The site of the clean up was the Werribee River just upstream of the town centre at Prouse Place. The amount of rubbish retrieved from the river is quite disturbing. The mammoth haul included 
793 bottles and cans, 405 plastic bags, 559 food packaging items, 4.5 shopping trolleys, 3 bikes, a sofa, plus a myriad other things.  A total mass of 1250kgs

Werribee & Altona Beach Patrol, Point Cook Open Spaces & Point Cooke Marine Care combined clean
The beach in the Point Cooke Marine Park was much cleaner than the beaches we usually clean most likely due to the limited public access & there was a notable absence of take away food packaging. Our 53 volunteers still managed to collect over 200 kg of rubbish

3030 Corporate clean up day with staff from the AGL Customer Experience Team.
On Thursday November 10th 3030 Beach Patrol / Werribee River Association conducted a "corporate clean up"with staff from the AGL Customer Experience Team.  The site of the clean up was in the bush, along the river, at Bungey's Hole Werribee.

3030 Werribee Oct 9th clean

38 Volunteers braved the wild & windy weather to clean the breakwater at Wyndham Harbour & adjoining beaches today.  As usual unfortunately there was lots of litter and we managed to collect  250 kg rubbish including 250 bottles & cans! All in one hour.

48 volunteers  clean the Werribee River
For our September clean we cleaned the Werribee River near the town centre.  In excess of 300 Kg of rubbish was collected including shopping trolleys, car tyres, a bike and many other large items.  There was also a large amount of take away food packaging, cigarette butts, bottle tops & a massive haul of 574 bottles & cans.

3030 Werribee August Clean at K Road Cliffs
Although we were there just 2 months ago for our June clean our 28 volunteers still collected 180Kg of rubbish   Among the rubbish we collected were 428 bottles & cans. Many of them appeared to have been there for a very long time. Other common items included fishing bait containers, fishing line & take away food containers. We even collected another BBQ

Werribee 1st Birthday Clean July 10th
Werribee Beach Patrol joined with Werribee Rotary to make our 1st birthday clean a big one.   Our 40 volunteers also collected over 100 kg of litter including 218 bottles and cans.

3030 Werribee June Clean
36 volunteers  collect a huge haul of rubbish from K Road Cliffs on the Werribee River 

250 Kg of rubbish  was picked up including 419 bottles & cans. Many large items were collected such as dumped building materials (concrete), a car differential and a baby stroller.

3030 Werribee May 8th Clean
Despite the fact it was mothers day & wet 15 volunteers collected 130 kg of litter from the new breakwater at Wyndham Harbour & adjoining beaches.
